"When the SPCA must euthanize an animal, it is for the same reason so-called "no-kill" facilities euthanize animals" *LINK*

In a February 2008 Vancouver Sun "Sound Off" piece, BC SPCA CEO Craig Daniell made the statement, 'When the SPCA must euthanize an animal, it is for the same reason so-called "no-kill" facilities euthanize animals — to end the suffering of an animal that is beyond medical help.'
That statement is misleading in my opinion. By saying that the SPCA only 'euthanizes' an animal 'for the same reason so-called "no-kill" facilities euthanize animals', Mr Daniell both insults no-kill shelter facilities by implying that they aren't really no-kill, at the same time subtly implying to the average reader that the SPCA is "no-kill". This statement needs to be questioned.
