Large egos won't admit when they are wrong

Sadly, you're dealing with big egos here that is why they have to mount them, certainly not out of respect, unless they mount their relatives as well. While I agree that those hunters that do actually hunt for food and make sure the animal is not wasted are not the problem and I agree we should ALL know where our food is coming from, it is the hunters who kill for sport and for trophies that is the issue here. While some will say they use the meat, I can guarantee you that for the majority of them it's because they enjoy the kill and their chest pumps out when they mount that animal on the wall so they can tell all their friends.

I have said this too many times, while I hike in the backwoods and not even far in the backwoods I have come across animals left in traps that have been there for weeks and I also have come across a pile of animals that were skinned and NONE of the meat was taken.

In the Okanagan not far from where I lived I came across 5 deer, all with bullet holes in them and NONE of that meat was taken or antlers used for anything. They were left there to rot.

There are good and bad people in everything, including people who claim to be activists. As the animals can't speak for themselves then we will continue to do so, those who truly care. As far as the writer saying that she gives more to conservation than any of us, well you're wrong there as you obviously have no idea what I give and what I commit to or for the millions of others. You obviously know we're out there or you wouldn't have to try to justify what you do.

But as I said, when you're dealing with such large egos I doubt they'll ever change because those types usually don't like to admit when they're wrong.
