In Response To: The SPCA's list of 56 reasons it can kill for while saying it doesn't kill except to end the suffering of an animal that is 'beyond medical help' (AAS)

If the SPCA is killing animals for the 56 reasons listed, there is really not much use for the SPCA, is there? What they are saying is that if an animal is not perfect, it might be killed.

I rescued a mother cat and her 3 beautiful kittens and turned them over to Kitchener-Waterloo Humane Society last spring. When I called 3 days later, they had all been euthanized.

Whatever happened to an animal's right to live? Who are we to snuff out a life because some little thing needs fixing? To humanely euthanize an animal who is suffering and beyond help is one thing, but to destroy an animal because it has ear mites........that is unconscionable. All that many of these animals need is love and understanding.
