Only 400 Nanaimo SPCA members

I have asked this question a number of times and never received an answer. I long ago ceased to donate any money to the BCSPCA.
It is my belief that the SPCA's top management is showing arrogant, incompetent and unprofessional behaviour on a frequent basis and therefore loosing many longstanding members and driving away potential new members.
It is unfortunate the board of directors, as far as I know, does not take drastic remedial action.
Our animals in need are truly dependent on the SPCA, as it is the only society with any legal powers, little as they are.
Nanaimo and sourounding areas have over one hundred thousand people, yet the SPCA membership is barely about four hundred. That is less than one half of one percent. How bad can it get?!
My heart is with the animals and those of us who truly care for them and my anger is at the SPCA.
