In Response To: Government quietly caves to seal hunt pressure (AAS)

Unfortunately, I believe this is mostly lipservice in an attempt to forstall the European Union from banning seal products.
Will the Europeans see through it?
I hope so.
Killing is still killing, no matter how it's done.
We have eliminated the buffalo because the hide was worth $2 and now we are busy exterminating other furbearing creatures because their fur is worth a few dollars.
Those of us with greed and "I Don't Give a Damn" attitudes have not and will not change.
The one and only power to effect change is the
government, at present still condoning sealing, trapping and so called sport hunting.
And the only one able to change government and its policies are the people who have the wisdom to respect all other forms of life. We must keep up the fight.
I know that AAS and its dedicated associates, as well as other friends of animals,
have in the past and will in the future, assert great influence in the interest of those truly innocent sentients we try to protect.
Thank you AAS for what you started and for what you are doing.
